We recently finished a big shooutout for this title, and this one was one of the more consistent copies we found. Some of the tracks here have BIG, BOLD, absolutely GLORIOUS analog Tubey Magic. The transfer of the tracks onto this compilation is mostly spot on. more Info


				Bennett & Evans The Tony Bennett/ Bill Evans Album (Item #: benneevans_0613) Our Price: $79.99 This Fantasy LP has TWO GREAT SIDES with each rating A+ or better and - let's not forget -- superb music! I would have to say that this album, heard on a Hot Stamper pressing, would rank up at the top of the All Time Great Male Vocal Recordings. If you like sophisticated vocal jazz I don’t think you can do much better than this record, especially when it sounds like this! Tony Bennett’s voice sounds wonderfully rich, BREATHY, and above all natural. more Info

				Electric Light Orchestra A New World Record (Item #: electnewwo_0613_3) Our Price: $299.99 This White Hot Stamper ELO LP has THE BEST SIDE TWO WE'VE EVER HEARD, giving you OUT OF THIS WORLD SOUND for two of the biggest singles off this record, 'Do Ya' and 'Livin' Thing'. It's been about five years since we last found great copies of this one -- not so easy to find clean Brit originals these days -- and we had almost forgotten how fun this album can be when the sound is this good. You will not believe how rich and full-bodied the sound is on side two. more Info


				Bread The Best of Bread (Item #: breadbesto_0613_1) Our Price: $99.99 TWO HOT SIDES, including an EXCELLENT A+ TO A++ SIDE ONE! This album is a Better Records Desert Island Disc if ever there was one. (Believe me, there are plenty.) It's one of the rare greatest hits compilations that is sonically competitive with the original albums. We can't say for sure why it turned out so much better than most. We have a few guesses and even a commentary or two, but none of that matters as much as the sound of these sides, which is WONDERFUL! more Info


				Tchaikovsky / Symphony #6 (Pathetique) / Monteux (Item #: tchaisym6_0613) Our Price: $124.99 This remastered version of LSC 1901 -- a recording from the earliest days of stereo, 1955! -- is guaranteed to KILL any and all originals as well as the common reissues. Shaded Dogs, White Dogs, Red Seals, you name it, this pressing will beat the pants off of it, guaranteed. Over the past twenty years we've played numerous copies of the early RCAs and we sure have never heard one sound like this, with so much LIFE and CLARITY. Where is the cutter head distortion, congestion and frequency limiting that ruins so many of those early pressings? Mostly, if not completely, gone. (We've played at least three Shaded Dogs of LSC 1901 this year and all three were AWFUL.) The size and scope of this recording is enormous, with the instruments clearly staged wide and deep. Where is the old tube smear and compression and opacity? more Info

A top copy like this one will allow you to fall back in love with these great songs. If you've been playing an average copy or a heavy vinyl reissue, we can understand why you might have forgotten how hard this album rocks! And at mostly Mint Minus throughout, this one is about as quiet as they come. more Info

We sat down with a big stack of pressings recently and only found a few that really had their mojo workin'. This copy was one of the better copies we heard, earning an A++ or very close to it on both sides. You are going to be surprised how rich and full-bodied this album can sound when you have a great copy like this! more Info

What the Hot Stamper copy of Back in Black was to Super-Fidelity HARD Rock, this White Hot Stamper side two of Let’s Dance is to Super-Fidelity FUNKY Rock. In other words, this is As Good As It Gets, Demo Disc, Mind Altering Sound. more Info
